We met in Washington, D.C. on September 11, 2022, when one of us was there for a college internship. From that very first moment, we felt an instant connection.

After that semester, we still had one more semester left in college — in different cities — so we navigated the distance with late-night calls, weekend visits, and constant texts that kept us close.

Once we graduated, we reunited in D.C. before making the move to Chicago, where we now live together and are building a life full of laughter, adventure, and plenty of deep-dish pizza.
